Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you stuck in cycles of overthinking past decisions or conversations?

You are a resilient person but currently experiencing overwhelming emotions and thoughts and are looking for a collaborative, supportive, and non-judgemental therapist to help you feel confident and happy.

You know that you need to feel motivated and strong but when it comes to facing life’s challenges, you feel exhausted and burned out.

You believed life would be engaging and full of happiness and purpose. And that you would reach your dreams and live authentically. You knew you’d face adversity, but you honestly believed you could overcome them. When you look at your life today, you feel stuck and scared. You’re struggling to manage your anxiety and relationship issues, and on your worst days, everything seems a bit hopeless and defeated. When this happens, you can start to feel even more critical of yourself. Well, I am here to tell you you’re not alone. Your struggles do not mean you are inadequate or not enough. You are completely capable of thriving and getting unstuck.

Hi, I’m Allison, and there’s one thing I know for sure…

You deserve the same self-compassion and understanding you give to others by starting on this journey, and that starts TODAY!

Truth is staying motivated, consistent, and resilient is hard during times of adversity. It’s normal to struggle with identifying and challenging anxious and intrusive thoughts on your own. Even though you feel stuck and overwhelmed now, it doesn’t have to keep you from living authentically. Instead, you can remain the curious observer you need to be to achieve your goals.

More About Me

As a licensed therapist with years of experience, I collaboratively guide you to remain curious about yourself to learn about yourself. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect and influence your relationships with the people around you.

Being a first-generation Guatemalan American, I also understand the importance of being culturally mindful, as well as the influence and impact it can have on interpersonal relationships and self-reflection. At Embracing You Therapy, it is our goal to help you develop a better and deeper understanding of yourself, your goals, and your values.

Ultimately, life is about growing and living authentically.

You’re ready to start to feel confident and thrive. And you’re also ready to start feeling strong relationships based on compassion, curiosity, and open communication.

Due to my desire to make sure you maintain maximum privacy and wanting to provide you with the highest level of care possible without constraints from managed care, I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance panels; therefore, I am not affiliated with any insurance panel. Many PPO plans may reimburse in full or in part for my services. Unfortunately, HMO, Medi-Cal, and Medicare insurances do not reimburse as they require that you see someone on their panel.
